Pro AV Innovations LLC. is a full service audio visual and electronic media company we work with all maner of audio visual and electronic media formats and projects.  Formed in the fall of 2025 the owner Derek Bjelland brings 30 years of experience to the audio visual and electronic media fields.  Having earned a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Iowa State University in 20013 and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies Electronic Media from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003 are the foundations of my knowledge in audio-visual technology and media creation.

Over the last 30 years I have produced numerous videos and audio recordings as well as worked on live productions ranging from small local church audio systems all the way up to Broadway productions and large scale music and worship events.  In 2025 I obtained industry certifications from two of the major technology companies in the world today.  Audinate and Extron.  I am proud to say that I hold the following certifications Extron Audio Visual Associate, Extron Control Specialist, Audinate Dante Level 1.  I am in the process of obtaining further certifications as well.

I also have extensive experience with audio-visual system design and install includeing a system installation at a historic church building in western Iowa.  I have also planned and built a mbile front of house rack including equipment from such brands as Allen and Heath, Presonus, dbx, and furman.  As a small company we onlty take on 1-2 projects at a time and those projects are our sole focus while they are ongoing.  At mediascape we provide full services design planning and instalation of audio visual systems including Mixers, Speakers, Projectors and more.
